Design, print and distribution

A local door-drop is more than a walk with a bag. We plan the zones, get the leaflet right, and then prove the delivery.

01

Design

If you do not already have artwork, we will help you shape a leaflet that works on a doormat: a clear offer, a local cue, and a way to respond. That can be a simple A6 or a folded piece, written for the households you are actually booking.

We work from your brand if you have one, or keep the layout plain and readable if you do not. The aim is a piece people can understand in a few seconds after they pick it up.

What we need from you

  • The offer, price or call to action
  • Any logo, photos or brand colours
  • The towns or postcodes you want to reach
  • Whether response is phone, web, QR or a visit

Typical stock

  • A6, A5 and A4 leaflets
  • Folded menus and brochures
  • Heavier stock for solus drops
  • Print timed to the distribution week

02

Print

Bring print-ready files, or let us take the job from design through to packed bundles. Quantities are planned against the household counts in each zone so you are not left short, and you are not paying for boxes you will not use.

If you already print elsewhere we can still distribute, provided the stock is bundled in a way our distributors can walk. We will tell you the pack sizes before you go to press.

03

Distribution

Leaflet distribution is still one of the most direct ways to put a local business in front of nearby households. It is not just colour on a doormat: the zone, the week, the weight of the item and the quality of the walk all change the result.

Precise targeting

Zones follow postcode districts and then street-level rounds. You choose the households; we do not sell you a county-wide smear unless that is what you asked for.

Adult distributors

Rounds are walked by adults. We brief them on how the item should sit on the mat, and we back-check the work rather than waving them off and hoping.

Shared or solus

Shared drops travel with non-competing leaflets and keep the cost down. Solus is for when the piece needs the mat to itself. Rates depend on size, weight, area and volume.

One-off drops are the usual way to test copy and area. If the response is there, we can put you on a regular cycle so the same streets see you more than once.

Peace of mind

GPS-tracked leaflet distribution

Distributors carry a GPS logger while they walk. We download the trail, check it against the booked zone, and can show you the route on a map when the round is done.

Coverage you can see

The trail shows the streets walked, not just a tick on a spreadsheet. That is how we look for gaps before we call a zone complete.

Delivery satisfaction

Logging sits alongside the distributor’s own round report. Together they tell us whether the drop reached the households you paid for.

Reporting

After the campaign we can summarise the zones, the dates they were finished, and the map images from the loggers.

How the logging works

The device records position while the round is walked. When the distributor finishes, we download the file and plot it on the street map. A single round produces a snail-trail; a multi-zone job produces a set of neighbouring tracks.

Questions

Frequently asked

What does Sussex Door Drops actually do?

We are a Chichester-based leaflet company. We design and print if you need it, then deliver your leaflets through selected letterboxes across West Sussex and south-east Hampshire. Distributors are adults and rounds are GPS logged.

How do you target an area?

Coverage is built from Royal Mail postcode districts, then broken into sector rounds of roughly 750 households. You pick the zones from the maps; we do not force a whole-town booking if a handful of streets will do.

Do you offer shared and solus drops?

Yes. Shared delivery goes out with other non-competing leaflets and is the usual starting point. Solus means your item travels alone. We will price both against the quantity and the districts you want.

Is GPS tracking included?

Logging is part of how we run rounds. After the drop we can supply a summary of the zones and dates, and map images of the walked routes. Extra printed copies of the tracks can be arranged if you need them for a client report.

Can you design and print as well as deliver?

Yes. Bring finished artwork, or ask us to write and lay out a leaflet that fits the drop. We print the common door-drop sizes and can schedule print so stock arrives before the distributors go out.
